How do I begin?
Here’s a brief lesson in menu creation:
Your first step is to decide how you want your meal served:
- Buffet
- Buffet stations
- Formal sit-down service
Next, decide on the main course you want served that day. Questions to think about in making this decision are:
- What are my food preferences?
- What are the food preferences for most of my guests?
- Do I want to provide a choice of entrees?
Consider whether you want hors d’oeuvres at your event. If you do, decide whether you would like them to be:
- Stationary
- Tray Passed
- A combination of both
The hors d’oeuvres you select should complement your main course, not duplicate it.
Lastly, add a fabulous dessert for the perfect finishing touch!
